SHINee facts

    o Key is the best in speaking Japanese and Minho is the worst

o All of SHINee thinks that Taemin is the shyest member.

o SHINee especially likes it when the fans makes GIFs of them.

o The only one who's allowed to call Key as Umma is Taemin.

o Onew admits that he has a bad stamina. Minho strongly agrees.

o Key threatened Jonghyun not to come back to the dorm if he didn’t win Immortal Song 

o Taemin started dancing since the 3rd grade! So oneday he heard about the SM casting and auditioned. He luckily got picked….and till this day, he searches for dance videos and learns from them.

o Onew entered middle school and suddenly realized that he wanted to sing. He heard from others that he sang pretty well and so he applied for SM academy, where he got casted.

o Key is from Daegu, S. Korea. Since kindergarten, his dream was to become a singer. When SM was having a audtion in Daegu, he auditioned and got casted.

o Minho got street casted. Since he was young, he loved to show people his talent and his dream to become a singer was very big.

o Jonghyun was involved in a band during middle school and performed in many events. Oneday, he perfomed in some competition and an SM worker casted him.

o Even though Taemin is so thin, he says that he actually eats more than the other members.

 o If you want a present from Taemin on your birthday, don't just expect it. He wants you to ask for it, otherwise you get nothing like Jonghyun did.

o Sometimes, Taemin and Jonghyun sleep on the same bed, and they let each other use their arms as pillows

o Minho is very cautious about what he says, that’s why he doesn’t talk much

 o It doesnt matter if it’s summer or winter,Jonghyun & Minho will still remove their clothes when they’re sleeping O.O

o At first Taemin would play sports with Minho, but then he never got to beat him so he just gave up.

o Minho mentioned that during SM the Ballad’s promotion time, Jonghyun practiced "Hot Times" so loudly that he could even hear it from the toilet.

o Taemin once asked the other members, "Hyung, do you know what love is?"

o When Jonghyun kissed Yoogeun for the first time, Key didn’t react. But when Minho kissed Yoogeun, Key wiped Yoogeun’s mouth.

o The Onew Condition had actually originated from Key. When Onew first met Key, he learnt how to be quiet and caring. He would constantly become quiet out of nowhere, and he happily blames Key for his Onew Condition.

o When SHINee was asked what they fell for recently, Key replied with, “First of all, Dark Americano. I drink it every day.”

o Taemin and Jonghyun have been on Immortal Song 2

o During Mirotic promotions, DBSK’s Changmin kept on telling SHINee that Replay should’ve been theirs. He really wanted Replay for themselves because it’s a song that never gets old.  

o SHINee is the first Korean artist in Japan to have 200,000 attendees in their first Japan arena tour.  

o Minho and Key once had a big fight until it became awkward between them for two years. Taemin didn't even know about it.

o Jonghyun was the first in SHINee to have his first kiss. 

o According to Jonghyun and Minho, Key and Onew aren’t in a close enough relationship to talk about each other’s bad points.

Good points

Onew to Taemin: He’s beautiful. 

Taemin to Jonghyun: He’s very witty. He says things that are really funny. 

Jonghyun to Minho: He’s serious in every situation. 

Minho to Key: He has a sense in whatever he’s doing. 

Key to Onew: Onew hasn’t changed. He’s a very warm person. 

Bad points

Minho to Jonghyun: Sometimes he can be harsh with words. (Jonghyun agrees.)

Jonghyun to Taemin: Once in a while they fight to the point of Jonghyun wanting to say, “Don’t talk to me anymore”.

Taemin to Onew: Sometimes he’s not funny. Other members: Sometimes? Taemin: There are times when he is funny, there are times when he’s not.

Onew to Key: (Ain’t close enough to tell each other their bad points.) 

Key to Minho: He’s very mature. Not the real mature. The fake one.

Taemin: Lucifer but changes his pick to Replay

o According to Jonghyun, if Taemin was a detective, he’d probably arrest an innocent person.

o Who can tell what personality a person has with just looking at them across the room (especially with females)? SHINee says it’s Jonghyun and Minho.  

o SHINee thinks that Minho’s ‘bottle’ picture in the album is “too cute”. However, Minho didn’t know that the picture would turn out that way.  

o Lately, men have been shocked to see Taemin in the restroom, thinking that he’s a girl. His new look has been causing a lot of misunderstanding.  

o Minho would often go shirtless in the dorm. Key hates it. He especially hates it when Minho would eat breakfast like that. 

o SHINee donated $ 10,000 to an orphanage in Cambodia.

o In SHINee’s new dorm, Minho shares a room with Onew and Taemin while Jonghyun shares a room with Key

o All of them love watermelon juice.

o Something that SHINee has heard that has left a big impression?

Onew - “I’m photogenic.”  

 Jonghyun - “Thank you.” 

Key - That he’s a very optimistic person.  

Minho - “Good-looking.” 

Taemin - “When I’m onstage, ah~ the fans’ cheers.” 

o SHINee’s favourite songs so far:

Onew - ‘Replay’ because it’s the first song they released and debuted in.

Jonghyun - ‘Lucifer’ because it equally shows the members’ talents.  

Key - Songs like ‘A-Yo’ and ‘Ready or Not’.

Minho - ‘Juliette’ because every member has a unique solo.

Taemin - ‘Romantic’ because he likes the R&B vibe to it.

o What three things would you take with you to a desert island?

Onew: Mom, a friend, a cook (with a knife).

Jonghyun: A cell phone, an airplane (to come back), and a pilot (because he doesn’t know how to fly a plane). 

Key: A cell phone, a pot, and a tool for making fire like a lighter or matchstick. 

Minho: A cell phone, SHINee members, Korean instant ramen. 

Taemin: As many friends as possible, water, and a boat to use to come back.
